Dayvan Bull鈥檚 power play goal lifted the Pilot Mound Hockey Academy Midget Varsity team to its first 麻豆传媒入口 championship.

Tynan Ewart of Pilot Mound says the championship game was amazing with the teams playing great.

Garret Elder setup Bull for the winner with 5:16 remaining as the Buffaloes pulled ahead of the Edge School 2-1 and held on despite a late push from the Calgary-based school.

鈥淚t鈥檚 amazing. After three years, to finally get my hands on that trophy and banner, it feels really good,鈥� added Ewart. 鈥淚t鈥檚 an opportunity of a lifetime and I鈥檓 happy it finally happened.鈥�

Luke O鈥橞rien gave Edge School a 1-0 lead at 14:28 of the first. In the second period, Bull and Brett Tataryn set up Brock MacDonald for the equalizer at 13:04 on the power play.

Dawson Chen made 35 saves for the win, while Kurt Stadlwieser made 32 saves in a losing effort.
