48 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) alumni competed at the Centennial Cup in Calgary, AB.

12 of those 48 CSSHL alumni would help the Calgary Canucks be crowned Centennial Cup Champions as they defeated the Melfort Mustangs and their 7 CSSHL alumni 7-2 in the finals.

The Centennial Cup see’s the nine Canadian Junior A Champions and one host team compete for a Canadian National Championship. The 10 teams are split into two pools of five:

  • Group A:
    • Greater Sudbury Cubs (NOJHL)
    • Trenton Golden Hawks (OJHL)
    • Kam River Fighting Walleye (SIJHL)
    • Northern Manitoba Blizzard (MJHL)
    • Grande Prairie Storm (AJHL)
  • Group B:
    • Rockland Nationals (CCHL)
    • Calgary Canucks (HOST)
    • Edmundston Blizzard (MHL)
    • Braves de Valleyfield (LHJQ)
    • Melfort Mustangs (SJHL)

The 48 CSSHL alumni represented 9 of the 10 teams competing in this years National Junior A Championship. The hosts and back-to-back AJHL Champion Canucks led the way with 12 CSSHL alumni. The Grande Prairie Storm, who lost in the AJHL Final to the Canucks, sit second with nine CSSHL alumni.

31 CSSHL alumni competed at the 2024 Centennial Cup while 33 competed in 2023.聽

The Kam River Fighting Walleye have signed Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) student-athlete Jonny Timmons for the 2023/24 season.

Timmons spent four seasons in the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) with OHA. He would join the program in 2019/20 with the OHA U15 Prep team, recording 7 points in 30 games. The following U16 Prep season the Whitehorse, YT forward would tally seven points in nine games.

In 2021/22 Timmons would play for the OHA U17 Prep Black team, scoring 15 goals and adding 11 assists in 29 games. This season he would record 9 goals and 11 assists in 32 U18 Prep games.

The Fighting Walleye are a Superior International Junior Hockey League (SIJHL) team located in Oliver Paipoonge, ON.

麻豆传媒入口 student athlete Lang Lee has signed with the Superior International Junior Hockey League鈥檚 Dryden Ice Dogs.

Lee, 18, has attended the Prairie Hockey Academy the past three seasons, most recently posting 25 points (13-12-25) in 24 games with their Midget Varsity team during the 2019-20 season, while also adding three points (2-1-3) in four games at the 2020 BDO CSSHL Championships.

The Swift Current, Sask. product appeared in 22 games with Prairie鈥檚 Midget Varsity team during the 2018-19 season, collecting 12 points (3-9-12) along the way, before registering three points (0-3-3) in four games at the 2019 BDO CSSHL Championships.
