Round 1, Pick 1 (Kris Hogg): Chloe Primerano, Defenseman, BWC Academy/RHA Kelowna聽

A new age defenseman that can impact in all aspects of the game. Like having a 4th forward on the ice and her vision and spatial awareness allows her to manipulate the play in her favour. A player that makes an impact every shift she is on the ice. Top Scorer, MVP and also a two time CSSHL Champion in her two years. In her CSSHL years, she sits 2nd in overall points and 6th in goals all while being a suburb defender. She entered her university career a year early and continues to set records at the U18 Women鈥檚 Worlds and being one of the youngest defenders to ever suit up in a Women鈥檚 World Championship this past April. Prior to the CSSHL Female Prep Division she skated on the Male Bantam Prep Division where she was the first ever Female Skater selected in a CHL Draft.聽

Round 1, Pick 2 (Kai Farenholtz): Danielle Serdachny, Forward, Pursuit of Excellence (RHA Kelowna)

Despite only playing two seasons in the CSSHL, Serdachny was able to post over 100 career points in a mere 49 appearances. In Serdachny鈥檚 two seasons with POE, she would be apart of two consecutive division championships and take home an MVP in her second CSSHL season. Her prolific scoring touch would continue to thrive at the college level, where she would garner 238 points across her NCAA career with Colgate University. Serdachny currently plays with the Ottawa Charge in the PWHL after being selected second overall in the 2024 PWHL Draft.

Round 1, Pick 3 (Jordan Martin): Maisie Cope, Goalie, Delta Hockey Academy

Back-to-Back CSSHL Top Goaltender Awards to wrap up an impressive CSSHL career that saw her finish second all time in wins with 38. In a division dominated by RHA Kelowna the last four seasons, the University of Calgary commit handed them 2 of their 3 losses the past two seasons (sorry Kris). The Victoria, BC netminder finished her three year CSSHL career with a 34-8-3 record, 9 shutouts, a .929 SV% and 2.09 GAA.聽

Round 2, Pick 4 (Jordan Martin): Gracie Graham, Defense, RHA Kelowna

Graham sits third all-time among CSSHL defensemen with 70 career regular season assists, winning three CSSHL Female U18 Prep Championships in three straight seasons. The CSSHL Female U18 Prep Top Freshman in 2021/22 and the CSSHL Female U18 Prep Top Defenseman in 2023/24, Graham finished with 34 goals, 70 assists and 104 points in just 79 games. Among defensemen, her career totals see her ranked third in goals, third in assists, and third in points, while her 1.32 points-per-game is second.聽

Round 2, Pick 5 (Kai Farenholtz): Danica Maynard, Defense, Okanagan Hockey Academy/RHA Kelowna

Not many in the history of the Female division in CSSHL history were able to dish the puck better than Maynard. Sitting atop of the all-time assists leaderboard, Maynard acquired 108 assists across her time with OHA and RHA Kelowna. Maynard鈥檚 blend of hockey IQ and elite skating made her not only an offensive threat in the opponent’s zone, but a solid piece in her own end as well, disrupting plays and quickly progressing the play up the ice once the puck reached her stick. After capturing two championships with RHA Kelowna in her final two years in the CSSHL along with her catalogue of offensive talent, Maynard stands as one of the greatest blue-liners the CSSHL has ever seen.

Round 2, Pick 6 (Kris Hogg): Anne Cherkowski, Forward, Pursuit of Excellence (RHA Kelowna)

Cherkowski sits atop the leaderboard in points (165) and goals (85) all time in the CSSHL. A model of consistency, you always know you’ll get a contribution from her whether it’s on the scoreboard or killing a penalty or winning a big face-off.聽 Her IQ is one of the best in the entire female game which allows her to play in all roles and log big minutes. She carries with her two CSSHL Championships along with a gold and silver medal from the U18 Worlds with Canada. I am fortunate enough to have coached her at the U18 level and also in her last year at Clarkson (2024-25) in which she was named a first team ECAC All Star and will be a top pick in this year鈥檚 PWHL Draft. She continues to knock on Team Canada鈥檚 door suiting up in the Rivalry Series and captaining the U22 Collegiate Team. Plus, I don鈥檛 think anyone is going to beat her record of an 8 goal game on the female side anytime soon.聽

Round 3, Pick 7 (Kris Hogg): Dara Greig, Forward, Pursuit of Excellence (RHA Kelowna)

Greig had an outstanding career and sits 5th in all time scoring in the CSSHL. Her 100 assists also sits 3rd all time making her not only a threat to score, but also make plays. With two CSSHL Championships to her name, her power forward approach to the game allows her to speed up or slow down the game with the puck on her stick. Her size and possession game creates extended ozone time for her and her linemates and wears other teams down.聽 She鈥檚 as competitive as they come and is someone you want on the ice when you need a goal. This is also a strategic pick with Greig and Cherkowski playing three years together on the same line and power play which caused trouble for all opposition and goalies throughout those years. Dara moved on from a successful NCAA career winning a National Championship with Wisconsin to be selected 23rd overall to the Montreal Victoire in the 2024 PWHL Draft where she currently plays.聽

Round 3, Pick 8 (Kai Farenholtz): Kendal Davidson, Defense, South Alberta Hockey Academy

Before suiting up with SAHA, Davidson spent two seasons playing U15 AA & AAA on the male side in Lethbridge. When she made the jump to Female U18 Prep, her blend of speed, size and a lethal shot made her an instant threat in the CSSHL. Going through footage in my first season with the CSSHL, I was always excited to see how Davidson would collect her goals/points given her skillset. Not many could stop Davidson once she got a head of steam coming out of her own zone, always keeping defenders on their toes whenever the puck was on her blade. Davidson recorded back-to-back double-digit goals in her two full seasons with SAHA before advancing to Union College in the NCAA, picking up the title for top defenseman in the 2022-23 season.

Round 3, Pick 9 (Jordan Martin): Sarah Wozniewicz, Forward, Edge School

I remember watching her during her 2019/20 CSSHL MVP winning season and at one particular game a handful of WHL scouts who were in the arena for a U15 Prep game were blown away by her ability to dominate in the Female U18 Prep division. She would finish second in scoring that season with 52 points in 24 regular season games before leading Edge to their first ever CSSHL Female U18 Prep Championship. Wozniewicz finished her CSSHL career tied for 6th with 59 goals and 15th with 108 points. The Cochrane, AB forward has won two NCAA Championships with the University of Wisconsin, posting 35 goals and 36 assists in her four seasons with the Badgers.聽

Round 4, Pick 10 (Jordan Martin): Rylind MacKinnon, Defense, Northern Alberta Xtreme

You might not find her at the top of the leaderboards like a lot of the defensemen selected above her, but her impact on the CSSHL and NAX makes her well deserving of a Top 10 selection. In three CSSHL seasons from 2015-18 the Cranbrook, BC defender tallied 8 goals and 25 assists for 33 points in 48 games. Her best season would come in 2017/18 when she produced at a point-per-game pace to capture the CSSHL MVP Award. MacKinnon would go on to play five seasons with UBC where she was named to the U SPORTS All-Rookie Team in 2018/19 and a U SPORTS First Team All-Star in 2023/24. Undrafted to the PWHL, MacKinnon became the first skater in league history to sign a contract in the PWHL directly out of U Sports and has tallied 2 points in 22 games with the Toronto Sceptres this season.聽

Round 4, Pick 11 (Kai Farenholtz): Morgan Jackson, Forward, Shawnigan Lake School

One of the more dangerous forwards we鈥檝e seen throughout the history of the Female U18 Prep division, Jackson was a constant threat in the offensive zone with her cerebral hockey IQ, elite playmaking and wicked shot. In her two seasons with Shawnigan, Jackson collected 119 points in only 49 games. Her 2.43 points per game stands alone at the top for the highest rate of production the Female U18 Prep division has ever seen. Despite coming shy of a championship in her two seasons with Shawnigan her production didn鈥檛 taper off in the postseason, still acquiring a bountiful 24 points across 10 career playoff matches. Add another season of CSSHL competition under her belt and I don鈥檛 think it鈥檚 far off to say that Jackson could have ended her CSSHL career as the Female U18 Prep鈥檚 all-time leading scorer.

Round 4, Pick 12 (Kris Hogg): Stephanie Markowski, Defense, Pursuit of Excellence (RHA Kelowna)

Stephanie is the ultimate competitor and a true winner. No team or list is complete without including her. Her contributions go beyond just points as although she completed her CSSHL career with well over a point per game (58pts in 45 games), she also was trusted in logging big minutes in shut down roles and also a force to be reckoned with 72 penalty minutes. If you somehow got around her using your feet, which didn’t happen very often, she made sure she used her body to shut that play down. A true winner, she is the only player ever to win an ESSO Cup, CSSHL Championship, U18 Women鈥檚 World Gold Medal, Canada Winter Games Gold and a NCAA National Championship. She is the first former CSSHL Defenseman selected in the PWHL going 20th overall to the Ottawa Charge in the 2024 Draft. She currently has 5 points in 25 games. She continues to get looks from Hockey Canada, attending multiple National Camps. All this girl does is win.聽

Round 5, Pick 13 (Kris Hogg): Kennedy Sisson, Forward, Okanagan Hockey Academy/RHA Kelowna,聽

As Kennedy moves into her final season before heading off to Clarkson University, she sits near the top in every single offensive category. Passing the all time games played mark this past season (2024-2025), she currently sits 3rd in goals (74), 5th in assists (77) and 4th (151) in overall points. This next season she’s on pace to move into 1st overall in all of those categories. She鈥檚 smooth and slick with the puck and can turn nothing into something and has the vision to make and see plays well into the future. She’s a player that will continue to climb the ranks within her province and country. Every year she鈥檚 always near the top in scoring and as she ages this doesn’t look to be slowing down anytime soon. She has thre CSSHL Championship Rings and looks to make it a 4th next year. Whatever Cherkowski or Greig don鈥檛 score on, Sisson will be there to clean it up. That is, if Chloe doesn鈥檛 just score initially.聽

Round 5, Pick 14 (Kai Farenholtz): Alix Walchuk, Goalie, Delta Hockey Academy/Shawnigan Lake School

Reigning from Whitehorse, YT, it鈥檚 fair to say Walchuk has had ice in her veins during her tenure in the CSSHL. Every five games, you could statistically predict Walchuk would post a shutout, garnering 11 clean sheets in 55 career games. Her past two seasons split between Delta Hockey Academy and Shawnigan Lake School have been nothing short of miraculous, posting a combined 2.31 GAA and 0.923 SV% across 36 games. Including playoffs, Walchuk has made over 1500 saves in her CSSHL career. She is set to begin her college career this upcoming fall with York University in Toronto, ON.聽

Round 5, Pick 15 (Jordan Martin): Mikayla Boarder, Forward, Shawnigan Lake School

Kai made the mistake of selecting a goalie with his last pick despite me no longer needing one, opening the door for me to select two high scoring forwards. Boarder eased into the CSSHL with 19 points in 24 games her first season before exploding for a combined 104 points in 54 games her last two. The Richland, WA forward led the CSSHL with 41 assists and 60 points in 2022/23, her last season in the league. She ranks in the Top 10 All-Time with 125 points (8th) and 76 assists (6th) and currently plays with the University of Maine, tallying 23 points in 67 NCAA games.聽

Round 6, Pick 16 (Jordan Martin): Alida Korte, Forward, RHA Kelowna

While the CSSHL playing days of most of the players selected in this draft are over, the best days for Korte are yet to come. Korte currently sits 12th All-Time with 115 points and 8th with 72 assists, trailing only Kennedy Sisson among active CSSHL skaters. While Sisson has accomplished this feat in four seasons, Korte has done it in just two with 52 points in 2023/24 and 63 points in 2024/25. Selected as a BC Division First Team All-Star and CSSHL MVP Award Finalist this past season, another strong season from the Saskatoon, SK forward should vault her into a Top 2-3 finish for points in a CSSHL career, likely only trailing Sissons. The definition of a 鈥済ame changer鈥�, Korte鈥檚 superb offensive skill set has helped lead RHA Kelowna to back-to-back CSSHL Championships, including being named Championships MVP this past season. With a gold medal at the most recent U18 Women鈥檚 World Championships, expect her to play a key role for Team Canada next season.聽

Round 6, Pick 17 (Kai Farenholtz): Rowyn Street, Forward, RHA Winnipeg

I had some internal debate with this pick with Street still having at least two more years of eligibility in the CSSHL, but from what I have gathered over the last two seasons watching her footage and seeing her game develop and grow鈥� it was hard for me not to select her. Street entered the CSSHL with RHA Winnipeg after playing a full season with the Winnipeg Wild in U15 AAA competition with the boys in Manitoba. Since then, she has posted 51 goals in 60 career games, enough to leave her already tied for 13th all-time in Female U18 Prep goals. At the pace she is on, that number is set to rise drastically over her potential next two years in the CSSHL. Away from just the stats, Street is a complete offensive threat with an elite shot for her age along with a full skillset across the board, most notably in my eyes with her skating and puck control. Of her 51 career goals, 40 have come at even strength while another 4 have come shorthanded. Her presence on the ice cannot be ignored as she is used in every facet of the game. You can say this pick is premature at this stage, but acknowledging the stats and witnessing her game over the last two seasons, Street鈥檚 game is already amongst the best from my perspective.

Round 6, Pick 18 (Kris Hogg): Farah Walker, Goalie, Edge School/Okanagan Hockey Academy/RHA Kelowna

A four year CSSHL player, Farah was the first ever female goalie to play in a boys division with Edge U15 in the 2019/2020 season. She continued to climb the ranks within Hockey Alberta and had her breakout year in 2022-23 winning Gold with Hockey Canada at the U18 Women鈥檚 World Championships and also capturing the CSSHL Goalie of the Year playing for OHA. Her next season with RHA Kelowna she shattered previous years numbers with an outstanding .953 save percentage and 0.76 GAA. She sits atop the leaderboard for all time save percentage with a .930% among all goalies to play in the league. As we know with goalies, we need them to come through in the clutch, which Walker has been known to do as she boasts an astonishing 1.43 GAA and 0.947 Save % in all Playoff Games combined. Her final season with RHA Kelowna she was able to finally lift a CSSHL Championship above her head. Walker has moved on to the NCAA where she currently plays for Colgate University.聽

The Calgary, AB netminder spent the 2017/18 season in the CSSHL with the Edge U18 Prep team going 11-6-0 with a .918 SV%, 2.31 GAA and 3 shutouts.

He would play two seasons in the AJHL before heading to the NCAA with the University of Denver. In four NCAA seasons he would post a 63-17-4 record with 4 shutouts, a 2.13 GAA and .921 SV% while winning NCAA Championships in 2022 and 2024.

Ethan Edwards, Charlie Elick, Trey Taylor and Matthew Wood have all signed NHL Entry Level Contracts, while Evan Friesen has signed in the ECHL.

Selected in the fourth round, 120th overall at the 2020 NHL Draft by the New Jersey Devils, Edwards has signed a two year contract with the team. The St. Albert, AB defenseman has spent the last four seasons in the NCAA with the University of Michigan, tallying 56 points in 130 games.

Edwards spent two seasons in the CSSHL with the Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX), capturing a U16 Prep Championship in 2018. Overall, he would play 63 games split between the NAX U16 Prep and U18 Prep teams, recording 49 points.

Elick has signed with the Columbus Blue Jackets after they selected him in the second round, 36th overall at the 2024 NHL Draft. The Calgary, AB defenseman joined Edge School in 2020/21, playing with their U15 Prep team. In 2021/22 he would tally 25 points in 26 U18 Prep games while being named the CSSHL U18 Prep Top Freshman Award winner.

The Brandon Wheat Kings would select Elick with the third overall pick at the 2021 WHL Draft where he would spend his first two-and-a-half WHL season before joining the Tri-City Americans midway through this year. In 196 career WHL games Elick has 10 goals and 45 assists.

Undrafted to the NHL, Taylor has signed a contract with the Dallas Stars. Taylor spent the 2017/18 season with the Delta Hockey Academy U16 Prep team, posting 12 goals and 16 assists in 35 games.

The Richmond, BC defender would join Clarkson University of the NCAA in 2022/23, playing three seasons with the team. In 110 NCAA games Taylor finished with 16 goals and 38 assists while being named the NCAA (ECAC) Best Defensive Defenseman and a Second Team All-Star in 2023/24.

Woods spent the 2019/20 CSSHL U15 Prep season with the West Van Warriors (now the North Shore Warriors), finishing second in the league in goals (40) and fourth in points (71) in 30 games. At the conclusion of the season the Regina Pats selected Wood in the second round, 41st overall at the 2020 WHL Draft. However, Wood took the NCAA route.

TheLethbridge, AB forward spent two seasons with the University of Connecticut before transferring to the University of Minnesota this season. In 109 NCAA games Wood recorded 44 goals and 57 assists while being named to the NCAA (Hockey East) All-Rookie Team in 2022/23.

Selected in the first round, 15th overall at the 2023 NHL Draft by the Predators, Wood has represented Team Canada on three separate occasions: twice with the U18 Team, and once with the World Juniors Team.

A forward from Winnipeg, MB, Friesen has signed an ECHL Contract with the Utah Grizzlies. Friesen has played two games with the team already, having played one with them last season.

Undrafted to the WHL, Friesen has spent the last four seasons in the top junior hockey league in Western Canada. This season he would captain the Wenatchee Wild, finishing with 61 points in 66 games. In total, Friesen had 146 points in 240 WHL games.

Prior to his time in the WHL, Friesen spent two seasons in the CSSHL with RHA Winnipeg, playing for their U15 Prep and U16 Prep teams. In 66 CSSHL games he would record 14 goals and 20 assists.

The tournament will take place April 9-20, 2025 in Czechia and will see Team Canada in Pool A with the U.S.A., Finland, Czechia and Switzerland.

Among the 25 players selected include Emily Clark, Hannah Miller, Chloe Primerano, Danielle Serdachny and Micah Zandee-Hart.

Clark spent two seasons with the Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) Female U18 Prep season. The Saskatoon, SK forward would go on to play five seasons in the NCAA with the University of Wisconsin, recording 70 goals and 76 assists in 147 games. She spent last season and the current one in the PWHL with the Ottawa Charge, recording 11 goals and 19 assists in 47 games.

Internationally Clark has represented Canada since 2011. To this date she has two U18 Women鈥檚 Worlds gold medals, one bronze, four silver and three gold medals at the Women’s World Championships. She has captured a silver medal at the 2018 Olympics and a gold medal a the 2022 Olympics.

Miller played for the OHA Female U18 Prep team in 2012/13 and 2013/14. She would go on to spend four season in the NCAA with St. Lawrence University, recording 43 goals and 80 assists for 123 points in 124 games.

The North Vancouver, BC forward would spend five years playing professional hockey overseas in China, Sweden and Russia before being selected by the Toronto Sceptres 74th overall at the 2023 PWHL Draft. In the last two PWHL seasons she has recorded 37 points in 46 games, including 23 points in 23 games this season.

This will be Miller’s first time playing for Team Canada at the National level and will mark her return in the red and white. She previously represented Canada at the 2013 and 2014 U18 Women’s World Championships, capturing gold both years. Miller would then go on to represent China internationally, including at the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.

Primerano made her National Women’s team debut at just 17 years old earlier this fall. The University of Minnesota freshman represented Team Canada at the 2024 U18 Women’s World Championships, earning MVP, Best Defender, Tournament Allstar and Leading Scorer honours, setting the record for most points by a defender at one U18 Women鈥檚 Worlds (16) and most points by a Canadian at one U18 Women鈥檚 Worlds. This summer she was named to the Canada Women’s U18 team that competed against the United States for a three-games series from August 14-17, 2024.

Primerano became the the first female-skater ever selected in a CHL Draft when the Vancouver Giants selected her in the 13th round, 268th overall at the 2022 WHL Draft. In just two seasons in the Female U18 Prep division with RHA Kelowna the North Vancouver, BC defender graduated from the CSSHL as the most successful student-athlete in women’s history. Her 105 career assists are most all time among Female U18 Prep skaters while her 164 career points rank 1 back of the all-time record. Her 59 career goals are fourth most all-time, and most among defensemen, giving her the all-time career lead among defensemen in assists (105), goals (59) and points (164). During the 2024/25 CSSHL season Primerano set the Female U18 Prep single season record, among all skaters, with 35 goals, 54 assists and 89 points in just 29 games to earn her second straight CSSHL Female U18 Prep MVP Award.

In 34 NCAA games this season as an underage true freshman, Primerano had 5 goals and 26 assists.

Selected second overall at the 2024 Professional Women’s Hockey League (PWHL) Draft, by the Ottawa Charge,聽Serdachny spent two seasons in the CSSHL with the Pursuit of Excellence (POE) Female U18 Prep team. She joined the program in 2017/18, finishing third in team scoring with 46 points. The following year she would finish second in team and league scoring with 58 points, bringing her CSSHL career total to 104 points in 49 games. That year she would also represent Team Canada at the World Women’s U18 Championship, tallying four points and being named as a ‘Top 3 Player on Team’, helping Canada capture gold.

The Edmonton, AB forward made the jump to the NCAA in 2019/20 with Colgate University. In 5 seasons with Colgate she finished with 238 points in 180 games. Her 61 points in 2023/24 were fifth among NCAA skaters while her 71 points in 2022/23 led all NCAA players. During her NCAA career she would be named a NCAA First Team All-American twice.

Serdachny scored the overtime winner in the Gold Medal game for Team Canada at the 2024 Women’s World Championships. To go along with her 2024 gold medal she has a 2023 silver medal and a 2019 gold medal at the U18 Women鈥檚 Worlds.

This season Serdachny has 2 goals and 5 assists in 23 PWHL games with Ottawa.

Zandee-Hart spent four seasons with OHA from 2011-2015. The Victoria, BC defender has a U18 gold and silver medals, to go along with a World Championship bronze, silver and gold, and a 2022 Olympic Gold medal.

She would play four seasons in the NCAA with Cornell University, recording 17 goals and 70 assists. Zandee-Hart joined the New York Sirens of the PWHL in 2023/24, tallying 3 assists in 19 games. This season she has 1 goal and 8 assists in 24 PWHL games with New York.

Rafael Cloutier and Lynden Larsen have signed in the QMJHL, while Jackson Kostiuk and Ethan Merner have signed in the WHL.

Cloutier joined Bourget College ahead of the 2021/22 East U17 season. In 33 games the Pointe-Fortune, QC forward had 9 goals and 8 assists. The following East U18 season he would record 5 goals and 8 assists in 14 games with Bourget. The Clarkson University commit has signed with the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada, having recorded two points in three games so far this season.

A forward from Verdun, QC, Larsen has spent the 2024/25 CSSHL East U17 season with Selwyn House School recording a team best 11 assists and 16 points in 5 games. Larsen, who was selected in the fourth round, 63rd overall at the 2024 QMJHL Draft, has played six games with Acadie-Bathurst Titan, tallying two assists.

Selected in the 10th round, 216th overall by the Saskatoon Blades at the 2021 WHL Draft, Kostiuk has signed with the Prince Albert Raiders, recording one assist in two games. The East St. Paul. MB forward played three seasons in the CSSHL with RHA Winnipeg at the U15 Prep and U18 Prep levels. In 71 career CSSHL games he recorded 89 points, including 47 during the 2022/23 U18 Prep season. Kostiuk has spent the last two seasons in the MJHL with the Steinbach Pistons, tallying 34 points in 29 games this season before joining the Raiders.

Merner joined Okanagan Hockey Academy for the 2019/20 U15 Prep season, producing 12 points in 30 games. The Kelowna, BC forward would have three points in two U15 Prep games with Yale Hockey Academy the following season before recording 44 points in 32 U17 Prep games in 2021/22, leading to the Calgary Hitmen selecting him in the fourth round, 80th overall at the 2021 WHL Draft. Former RHA Kelowna defenseman and current University of Minnesota student-athlete Chloe Primerano captained Team Canada and was joined on the roster by current RHA Kelowna student-athletes Ava Drabyk, Alida Korte, Danica Maynard, and Hayley McDonald.

The tournament took place January 4-12 in Vantaa, Finland. Team Canada opened the round robin with a 6-2 win against Slovakia before beating Switzerland 5-1and Czechia 5-0. They would beat Japan 17-0 in the quarter finals and Czechia 4-2 in the semis, before beating the USA 3-0 in the gold medal game.

Primerano, who represented Team Canada at the 2024 U18 Women’s World Championships, earning MVP, Best Defender, Tournament Allstar and Leading Scorer honours, led all defensemen with 4 goals, 6 assists and 10 points, third among all skaters. She would once again be named Best Defender, and a Tournament Allstar, while her 10 points gave her 36 career points with the U18 Women鈥檚 team, setting a new Canadian record.

McDonald would record 4 goals and 3 assists in 6 games, putting her seventh in team scoring. Maynard would chip in with 1 goal and 3 assists in 6 games, while Korte would play 2 games, finishing the tournament with 1 assist.

The Kamloops, BC netminder joined Delta for the 2019/20 U15 Prep season. He would play 16 games that season with Delta White before spending the following CSSHL season with the Delta U17 Prep team. That year he would post a .952 SV%, and 1.59 GAA in three games.

Hicks, who was undrafted to the WHL, is committed to NCAA Division I program Tennessee State University.

The Burnaby, BC defenseman joined the CSSHL for the 2019/20 U15 season. In 30 games he would lead all defenders with 19 goals and 42 points while being named the CSSHL U15 MVP. The following U15 Prep season he would record seven assists in six U15 Prep games.

In 2021/22 he would record 20 points in 30 regular season games with the BWC Academy U18 Prep team. He would add two assists in five playoff games to help BWC Academy capture the 2022 CSSHL U18 Prep Western Championship.

Kelowna originally selected Guilbault in the third round, 61st overall at the 2021 WHL Draft. Guilbault is committed to NCAA Division I program Quinnipiac University.

Moss has signed with the Medicinet Hat Tigers after he was originally selected in the 10th round, 217th overall at the 2022 WHL Draft by the Kamloops Blazers.

The Port Moody, BC defenseman joined Yale for the 2020/21 U15 season, tallying one point in four games. The following CSSHL season he would tally one assist in three U15 Prep games. During the 2022/23 U17 Prep season, Moss would record 5 goals and 18 assists in 34 games.

Plante joined Yale in 2018/19, tallying 12 points in 29 U15 games. The following season the Langley, BC forward recorded 16 points in 30 CSSHL U15 Prep games. He would spend the 2020/21 season with the Yale U17 Prep team, producing seven points in five games.

Undrafted to the WHL, Plante has signed with the Portland Winterhawks. He is committed to NCAA Division I program University of Nebraska-Omaha.

Moss and Plante both made their WHL debut within the last week.

The 10 team tournament will take place December 26-Jan. 5 in Ottawa, ON. Four CSSHL alumni will represent Team Canada at the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championships.

The four CSSHL alumni selected to represent Team Canada are:

• Carson Bjarnason – Brandon Wheat Kings/WHL (RHA Winnipeg)
• Gavin McKenna – Medicine Hat Tigers/WHL (RHA Kelowna/South Alberta Hockey Academy)
• Tanner Molendyk – Saskatoon Blades/WHL (Yale Hockey Academy)
• Sawyer Mynio – Seattle Thunderbirds/WHL (Yale Hockey Academy)

A first round pick by the Nashville Predators at the 2023 NHL Draft, Molendyk is one of five returning players who represented Canada at the 2024 World Juniors. Bjarnason will represent Team Canada for the third time. The 2023 2nd round NHL Pick by the Philadelphia Flyers won gold at the 2023 Hlinka Gretzky Cup and Bronze at the 2023 U18 World Championships.

McKenna, who is expected to be the first overall pick at the 2026 NHL Draft, has won gold for Canada at the 2024 IIHF U18 World Championships and the 2024 Hlinka Gretzky Cup. This will be the first time Mynio, a Vancouver Canucks 2023 third round pick, represents Team Canada on the international stage.

The 2025 IIHF World Junior Championship begins on Boxing Day with Canada kicking off its tournament schedule against Finland, while the United States will play Germany. The two teams will meet on Dec. 31 to wrap up preliminary-round action. The knock-out round will begin with the quarter-finals on January 2.
