The 2025 Maritime Hockey League (MHL) Draft took place June 14th with eight current and two former 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) student-athletes being selected.

The MHL Draft consisted of 10 rounds, with 118 players being selected.

Bishop’s College School (3), Mount Academy (3) and Notre Dame Hounds (3) led the way with three CSSHL student-athletes selected. King’s-Edgehill School (1), Stanstead College (1) all had at least one player selected.聽

48 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) alumni competed at the Centennial Cup in Calgary, AB.

12 of those 48 CSSHL alumni would help the Calgary Canucks be crowned Centennial Cup Champions as they defeated the Melfort Mustangs and their 7 CSSHL alumni 7-2 in the finals.

The Centennial Cup see’s the nine Canadian Junior A Champions and one host team compete for a Canadian National Championship. The 10 teams are split into two pools of five:

The 48 CSSHL alumni represented 9 of the 10 teams competing in this years National Junior A Championship. The hosts and back-to-back AJHL Champion Canucks led the way with 12 CSSHL alumni. The Grande Prairie Storm, who lost in the AJHL Final to the Canucks, sit second with nine CSSHL alumni.

31 CSSHL alumni competed at the 2024 Centennial Cup while 33 competed in 2023.聽

The Grand Falls Rapids have signed Ontario Hockey Academy (OHA) student-athlete Elliot Marois ahead of the 2023/24 Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL) season.

An 11th round pick, 197th overall by the Shawinigan Cataractes at the 2021 Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) Draft, Marois spent the 2022/23 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) Eastern U18 season with the OHA Prep team. In 14 games the Sherbrooke, QC defenseman would tally 1 goal and 9 assist.

Marois would add one assist in three playoff games at the 2023 CSSHL Eastern Championships.

Okanagan Hockey Academy (OHA) student-athletes Braycen Dube and Dahnte Nackoney have signed with the Summerside Western Capitals for the 2022/23 Maritime Junior Hockey League season.

Dube spent the last three seasons in the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL). The Cranbrook, BC forward joined Pursuit of Excellence (POE) for the 2019/20 U16 Prep season where he would tally 6 goals and 8 assists in 28 games. He would join OHA the following season, recording nine points in nine U17 Prep games. This past campaign Dube tallied 14 goals and 14 assists in 35 U18 Prep games.

A defenseman from Summerland, BC, Nackoney has played five seasons in the CSSHL with OHA. During the 2017/18 U15 campaign he would tally 12 points in 29 games. He would add 8 points in 29 U15 Prep games the following season, and 8 in 31 U16 Prep games in 2019/20. 2020/21 would see Nackoney finish with one goal and six assists in nine U17 Prep games. Nackoney would end the 2021/22 U18 Prep season with 1 goal and 13 assists in 36 games.

The Mount Academy Saints U17 Prep team saw three players selected at the Maritime Junior Hockey League (MHL) 2021 Territorial Draft on July 5, 2021.

Cam Henderson, Salem Johnson, and Mathieu Pelletier were all selected in this year鈥檚 MHL Territorial Draft after previously being selected in the Qu茅bec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) Entry Draft at the end of last month.

A fifth-round pick, 90th overall by the Acadie-Bathurst Titan in the 2021 QMJHL Entry Draft, Henderson, who is from New Minas, NS, was selected by the Valley Wildcats with their first pick in the MHL Territorial Draft.

Johnson, the lone defenseman of the trio, was selected in the fourteenth round, 238th overall by the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in last month鈥檚 QMJHL Entry Draft. Johnson was selected in the second round of the MHL Territorial Draft by his hometown Fredericton Red Wings.

The Edmundston Blizzard selected St Jacques, NB native Pelletier with their first-round selection. Pelletier was a third-round pick, 51st overall by the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in the 2021 QMJHL Entry Draft.

This was all three student-athletes first season with Mount Academy, though they were unable to play any Canadian Sports School Hockey League (CSSHL) games due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Johnson spent last season in the CSSHL recording 23 points in 30 games at the U15 Prep level with the Notre Dame Hounds.
