12 of those 48 CSSHL alumni would help the Calgary Canucks be crowned Centennial Cup Champions as they defeated the Melfort Mustangs and their 7 CSSHL alumni 7-2 in the finals.

The Centennial Cup see’s the nine Canadian Junior A Champions and one host team compete for a Canadian National Championship. The 10 teams are split into two pools of five:

The 48 CSSHL alumni represented 9 of the 10 teams competing in this years National Junior A Championship. The hosts and back-to-back AJHL Champion Canucks led the way with 12 CSSHL alumni. The Grande Prairie Storm, who lost in the AJHL Final to the Canucks, sit second with nine CSSHL alumni.

A forward from South Glengarry, ON, Besner spent the 2022/23 CSSHL East U17 season with OHA. In 10 games he would record a division best 16 assists and 27 points while being named MVP. He would add three goals and one assist in four playoff games to help OHA capture the 2023 CSSHL U17 Eastern Championship.

Having played three games for them as an affiliate in 2022/23, Besner joined the Hawkesbury Hawks of the CCHL full-time in 2023/24. He would record 17 goals and 14 assists in 55 games while being named to the CCHL Academic All-Star Team, the CCHL All-Rookie Team and the CCHL High School Academic Player of the Year.

Originally selected by the Kitchener Rangers ninth overall at the 2023 OHL U18 Priority Selection Draft, Besner had 35 points in 26 games with the Hawks this season.

Larocque spent the last two seasons in the CSSHL with OHA. During the 2021/22 Eastern U17 Prep season Larocque tallied two assists in nine games. This season the St Zotique, QC forward finished tied for third in team scoring with a total of 19 points in 17 games with the OHA U18 Prep team.

A forward from Fredericton, NB, Brewer has spent the last two seasons in the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) Eastern Division with OHA. During the 2021/22 Eastern U17 Prep season he would tally six goals and three assists in nine games. This season Brewer recorded 7 goals and 9 assists in 17 games with the OHA U18 Prep team.

Jeremie Ndeffo joined OHA alongside Brewer for the 2021/22 Eastern U17 Prep season. In 30 games the Chateauguay, QC product finished with 8 goals and 6 assists, while being named a finalist for the Eastern U17 Prep Division MVP Award. This season season Ndeffo scored 13 goals and assisted on 6 more, finishing third on the OHA Prep team in scoring. He was once again named a finalist for the Eastern U18 Prep Division MVP Award.

Moretta spent one season in the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) with the OHA U18 team. In 30 CSSHL games the Montreal, QC defenseman tallied 5 goals and 8 assists.

Alex McIntosh spent the 2021/22 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) season with the OHA U18 team. In nine CSSHL games the Ottawa, ON forward recorded three goals.

A forward from Gatineau, QC, Colton McIntosh played 20 CSSHL games for the OHA U18 team this season. He would tally 11 goals and 9 assists.

Penney spent one season in the 麻豆传媒入口 (CSSHL) Eastern Division. The Odessa, ON forward lead the OHO U18 team in goals (15), assists (20) and points (35) in 29 games. He would add two goals and one assist in four playoff games as OHO reached the CSSHL Eastern Division Championship game.

Kelly spent the 2021/22 season in the CSSHL Eastern Division with the Okanagan Hockey Ontario (OHO) U18 team. The Madoc, ON forward would finish second in team scoring with 14 goals and 13 assists in 31 games. He would add another two goals and two assists in four playoff games as OHO would make the U18 Eastern Championship Finals.

Jordan Waite spent the 2021/22 season in the CSSHL Eastern Division with the Bourget College U18 team. In 31 games the Ste-Marthe-sur-le-Lac, QC forward would record 16 goals and 25 assists, good enough for third on his team and seventh in league scoring.

A netminder from Ajax, ON, Ben Grahame has played four seasons in the CSSHL. He joined the league in 2017/18, playing 17 games for Delta Hockey Academy鈥檚 U15 team. He would suit up for Yale Hockey Academy the following two campaigns, playing in 31 games at the U15 Prep and U16 Prep levels.

Grahame would join Okanagan Hockey Ontario鈥檚 (OHO) U18 Prep team for the 2021/22 season, recording a record of 9-6-0 with a 3.00 Goals Against Average (GAA), .918 Save Percentage (SV%) and 1 shutout. Grahame would post a .288 GAA and .922 SV% during the Eastern Division Playoffs, helping OHO reach the finals.
